*Los empleados de IBM de la división Technical Support Services
(mantenimiento, planificación, soporte y operaciones) están en huelga
nacional. *
Después de años de reducción de su poder adquisitivo, del deterioro de
las condiciones de trabajo, y del creciente desprecio de la dirección de
IBM, el personal de la división de Technical Support Services (que
garantiza el mantenimiento de las máquinas de IBM tanto internas como
para los clientes) ha empezado una huelga nacional el lunes 23 de junio.
Su objetivo es recibir una compensación por el perjuicio sufrido en los
últimos años. En particular, los empleados del TSS de IBM exigen las
siguientes medidas urgentes:
/- Un aumento del 5% para todos los empleados, con un mínimo de 200
euros adicionales (netos, por mes);
- Que el salario del convenio colectivo no esté por debajo de los
mínimos garantizados;
- Una reevaluación de las prestaciones por las guardias, así como de las
obligaciones y actividades fuera de las horas regulares de trabajo; /
/- Compromisos precisos y detallados de la dirección de IBM de las
condiciones de trabajo tras los planes de despido. /
Los empleados de TSS han organizado ellos solos el movimiento en todo el
país. Los sindicatos los ayudan activamente y se comprometen a apoyarlos
durante la duración de la protesta.
El primer paso es una huelga renovable, a partir del lunes 23 de junio
2014, con reuniones en las principales localidades afectadas
(Noisy-le-Grand, Lille, Montpellier, Nantes, Toulouse, Estrasburgo ...).
Tras una reunión infructuosa con la dirección el martes 24 junio, los
empleados decidieron continuar con la huelga y la suspensión de las
guardias así como las operaciones en los clientes fuera de las horas
regulares de trabajo.
Se pueden decidir otras acciones en función de la reacción de la dirección.

*Los empleados de IBM de la división Technical Support Services
(mantenimiento, planificación, soporte y operaciones) continúan sus
acciones, a pesar de las maniobras de la dirección por disolverlos. *
La división TSS (mantenimiento, planificación, soporte y operaciones) de
IBM Francia, cuyos empleados se declararon en huelga del 23 al 26 de
junio está prolongando el enfrentamiento. Las intervenciones en clientes
y las operaciones fuera del horario de oficina, así como las guardias ya
no se están realizando.
Ante la negativa de los empleados para llevar a cabo las guardias del
fin de semana, la dirección de IBM trató de romper el movimiento social
haciendo que participaran empleados belgas, rumanos y británicos.
Para responder a esto, los empleados se reunieron este lunes 30 de junio
de 2014 en una asamblea general convocada por los sindicatos (CFDT,
CFTC, CGT, FO, UNSA) y decidieron continuar las acciones hasta que la
dirección se comprometiese a volver a la mesa de negociaciones. La
decisión fue adoptada por una amplia mayoría.
Las principales demandas de los trabajadores son un aumento general de
los salarios, una revisión de los acuerdos del servicio de guardias, y
una mejora de las condiciones de trabajo. Desde el 2013, dos planes de
despido sucesivos han dado lugar a 1000 recortes de empleo de alrededor
de 9000 en Francia, y han dañado profundamente las condiciones de trabajo.
Si la acción fuese a durar más tiempo, tendría un impacto negativo para
los clientes de IBM Francia. Algunos de los clientes importantes ya han
expresado sus preocupaciones con respecto a la incapacidad actual de IBM
para llevar a cabo las operaciones de reparación y mantenimiento fuera
del horario normal de oficina.
Los empleados de TSS han organizado ellos solos el movimiento en todo el

IBM employees of the Technical Support Services division (maintenance,
planning, support & operation) are on national strike.*
Following years of decrease of their purchasing power, the deterioration
of the working conditions, and because of the growing contempt of IBM's
management, the personnel from the Technical Support Services division
(which ensures the maintenance of IBM's machines internally and for
clients) started a national strike on Monday 23 June. Their goal is to
receive compensation for the prejudice endured over the past years. In
particular, IBM's TSS employees demand the following urgent measures:
/
- a 5% raise for all employees, with at least 200 additional Euros (net,
per month);//
- no conventional wage below the guaranteed minimums;//
- a reevaluation of the indemnities for on-call duty and activities out
of regular business hours;/
/
- precise and detailed commitments from IBM's management regarding
working conditions following the layoff plans./
The TSS employees organized the nation-wide movement on their own. The
trade unions actively assist them and are committed to supporting them
for the duration of the protest.
The first step is a renewable strike, starting Monday 23 June 2014, with
gatherings on the main locations concerned (Noisy-le-Grand, Lille,
Montpellier, Nantes, Toulouse, Strasbourg...). Following an unfruitful
meeting with the management on Tuesday 24 June, the employees decided to
continue the strike and to suspend on-call duties and client operations
outside of regular business hours.
Other actions may be decided depending on the management's reaction.

IBM employees of the Technical Support Services division (maintenance,
planning, support & operation) continue their action, following the
management's ploys to break up the movement.*
The Technical Support Services division (maintenance, planning, support
& operation) of IBM France, whose employees went on strike from 23 to 26
June, is prolonging the action. Client interventions and operations
outside of business hours, as well as on-call duties are no longer
carried out.
Faced with the employees' refusal to carry out on-call duties this
weekend, IBM's management tried to break up the social movement by
having Belgian, Romanian and British employees intervene.
To answer this, the TSS employees met this Monday 30 June 2014 at a
general assembly called by the trade unions (CFDT, CFTC, CGT, FO, UNSA)
and decided to continue the action until the management agrees to come
back to the negotiating table. This decision was adopted by a very large
majority.
The employees' main demands are a general wage raise, a revision of the
on-call duty agreements, and an improvement of the working conditions.
Since 2013, two successive layoff plans have led to 1,000 job cuts out
of around 9,000 in France, and have deeply damaged working conditions.
If the action were to last longer, it would have a negative impact for
IBM France's clients. Some large clients have already expressed their
worries regarding IBM's current inability to carry out repair and
maintenance operations outside of normal business hours.
The TSS employees organized the nation-wide movement on their own. The
trade unions actively assist them and are committed to supporting them
for the duration of the protest.
