El próximo Foro Económico Mundial (FEM) de DAVOS - 25-29 de enero – será el primero después de las revoluciones árabes y de la “Spamish revolution”. En Europa y Estados Unidos, el 2011 ha sido un año especialmente marcado por la crisis, pero también por la indignación, local y global, con sus lógicas repercusiones a nivel mundial.
 
En este escenario, desde Cataluña, hemos decidido organizar un Forum Social Catalán (FSCat) diferente al de otros años. El día 28, celebraremos una gran manifestación en contra de DAVOS, como paradigma del sistema actual, bajo el titulo “¡Contra de la dictadura financiera! ¡Basta ya de recortes!”. A partir del 29 de enero, y durante tres meses, impulsaremos un proceso para la construcción de alternativas, donde la ciudadanía y la sociedad civil organizada aportarán sus ideas sobre cómo construir otro mundo posible - el texto de la llamada está en el link <http://fscat.blog.pangea.org/> 
 
Pensamos que es un buen momento para el rechazo más absoluto del sistema de DAVOS y que en el marco de las movilizaciones mundiales previstas este año, que no hay encuentro mundial del FSM, este rechazo tiene mucho sentido.
 
Esperamos que muchos otros integrantes de los “procesos FSM” organicen movilizaciones anti DAVOS en sus países, entre el 26 y el 29 de enero de este año.
Sería especialmente relevante que en los acontecimientos ya previstos en el marco del FSM, como en la reunión de RIO+20, hubiera también una movilización anti DAVOS importante.
 
Volvamos a la raíz y al espíritu de Porto Alegre, digamos ¡No! todos juntos al sistema que nos imponen los ricos y sus portavoces en DAVOS.

CALL FROM THE “CATALAN SOCIAL FORUM” (FSCat) TO ALL THE FRIENDS OF THE WORLD SOCIAL FORUM (WSF)
 
The next Economic World Forum (EWF), to take place in DAVOS from the 25th to the 29th of January, will be the first EWF after the Arabic and “Spanish” revolutions. In Europe and United States, 2011 has been a year of huge crisis, as well as of local and global indignation!
 
Thus, in the framework of the worldwide mobilizations foreseen to happen the year when there is no worldwide WSF meeting, it makes sense, more than never, to reject the DAVOS system! It is now the right moment to do it!
 
In Catalonia, we have decided to organize a Social Catalan Forum (FSCat) different from that of other years. On the 28th, we will organise a big manifestation, in opposition to DAVOS as the paradigm of the current system, under the moto "Against the financial dictatorship! Stop the cuts!”. From January 29, we will begin a three months process of construction of alternatives, through which the citizenship and the organized civil society can contribute with their ideas to the construction of another possible world – please find the text of the call in the link <http://fscat.blog.pangea.org/> -
 
It would be great that many other members of the " WSF processes" organize mobilizations against DAVOS in their countries. It would be also relevant that important mobilizations against DAVOS take place at the occasion of the events already foreseen in the framework of the WSF process, like the RIO+20 meeting of Porto Alegre.
 
Let's get back to the root and spirit of Porto Alegre. Let's say NO! to the system which the rich and their spokesmen in DAVOS impose to the world.

Le prochain Forum Económique Mondial (FEM) de DAVOS - 25-29 janvier - sera le premier FEM après les révolutions arabes et la "Spamish revolution". En Europe et aux États Unidios, 2011 a été fortement marquée par la crise et par une grande indignation populaire, locale et globale, avec toutes ses répercussions au plan mondial.
 
En Catalogne, nous avons décidé d'organiser un Forum Social Catalan (FSCat) différent de celui d'autres années. Le 28 de ce mois, nous ferons une grande manifestation contre DAVOS, comme paradigme de l'actuel système, sous le lemne "Contre la dictature financière! Stop aux coupes!". À partir du 29 janvier, nous commencerons un processus de trois mois de construction d'alternatives, où la citoyenneté et la société civile organisée pourront apporter leurs idées quant à la construction d'un autre monde possible - le texte de l'appel se trouve dans le link suivant <http://fscat.blog.pangea.org/> -
 
Nous pensons que c'est un bon moment pour rejeter le système de DAVOS et que dans le cadre des mobilisations mondiales prévues l'année où n'a pas lieu la rencontre mondiale du FSM, ce rejet acquiert toute sa signification!
 
Nous esperons que beaucoup d'intégrants des "processus FSM" organisent aussi des mobilisations contre DAVOS dans leurs pays, entre les 26 et le 29 janvier de cette année. Il serait particulièrement pertinent à notre sens que dans les événements déjà prévus dans le cadre du FSM, comme la prochaine rencontre RIO+20 de porto Alegre, une mobilisation importante contre DAVOS puisse avoir lieu
 
Revenons à la racine et à l'esprit de Porto Alegre, disons “non!” au système imposé par les riches et par leurs représentants à DAVOS.
