A couple of updates. We got updated numbers from US Treasury today.
Total is actually over $1 billion:



Some updates (millions):



IDB   $447 (per IDB press release)

IMF  $165

IDA   $  39

IFAD $  13



Total of $664 million.  OPEC Fund may also be a small creditor but we
are not a member so difficult getting number.



Venezuela    $295 (per a news story today)

Taiwan            $  92



Total of $387 million



Grand total of $1.051 billion



Also, the US established a trust fund in April with $20 million to cover
Haiti's debt service payments to multilaterals. $3.5 of that has been
used.  They are still using it at least to pay debt service to IDB for
2010. We are working to specifics but Haiti's payments to IDB should be
covered as is at least for this year.



So really I think the strategic call should be permanent cancellation --
the fresh start argument ---rather than moratorium as de facto moratorium
exists in 2010 though of course that should be extended for much longer.
