[Deuda-QdQ] Desde Ginebra - acciones contra la OMC

Hola a todas/os:

Saludos desde Ginebra donde se reune la OMC en Conferencia Ministerial.

Esta manana temprano a las 7.30 hicimos la primera accion del dia, La Via
Campesina habia organizado una sentada en la entrada del edificio de la
OMC en Ginebra con el lema "La OMC esta creando la crisis", durante una
hora bloqueamos su entrada principal. Fue genial.

La manifestacion el sabado ha estado muy bien tambien, 4.000 personas
contra el libre comercio en tiempos que muy pocas organizaciones estan
trabajando los temas comerciales y de inversiones, muy bien!

Durante estos 3 dias realizamos visitas guiadas a las oficinas de algunos
de los 120 criminales corporativos con oficina en Ginebra, ayer sobre
crimniales en el mundo de los finanzas, hoy sobre alimentacion y
agricultura, sera con Via Campesina y en forma de tractorada.

A) Acciones en Ginebra

Today, first day of the Ministerial, we had a series of very successful
actions inside and out that we would like to share with all those that are
not in Geneva.

*1- Inside Action
*Below our press release for today's inside action that took place at the
doors to the plenary room as delegates entered for the opening ceremonies.
Around 30 OWINFS members sang our own version of Jingle Bells (lyrics
written by Carol Bergin and included in the press release attached). We
showed our banner, sang revised christmas carols, and chanted "No Doha
Round, Turn Around" and of course, "Our World Is Not For Sale" all the way
back to the front door as we walked out.

There was a lot of interest from delegates and media by this action.

*2- Outside Actions

The actions outside started with the *Fisherfolks parade *at 10.30am. The
parade included a march with a traditional filipino fisher's boat. The
parade finished in the tent outisde the NGO Centre. A spontaneous action by
fisherfolks outside the ministerial conference building was also held.
