décadas han sido
testigos de un crecimiento de la ayuda
humanitaria motivado tanto por un aumento de
los desastres de componente más o menos
natural
(sequías, inundaciones, terremotos,...),
como por los conflictos violentos que siguen
azotando a parte de la humanidad, tal y como
nos lo
recuerdan las noticias sobre Siria, Somalia
o RD Congo. Estas crisis ponen de manifiesto
el tremendo poder de la imagen respecto a la
percepción de esas situaciones y el papel
modelador que han adquirido los medios de
comunicación respecto a nuestras actitudes.
Asimismo, se evidencia la importancia de dar
un seguimiento adecuado a esos eventos desde
los propios medios y desde los actores de la
cooperación.</span></p>
