<p><span style="font-weight: bold;">Dos miembros del equipo de investigación de Amnistía Internacional han sido detenidos por la policía en El Cairo</span>, después de que el edificio donde se encontraban fuera tomado por la policía militar esta mañana. <br /><br />Nuestros compañeros han sido conducidos, junto con otros activistas de derechos humanos, a un lugar desconocido en El Cairo y aún <span style="font-weight: bold;">no sabemos su paradero</span>. Ya son miles las personas detenidas desde el comienzo de los disturbios, que se han cobrado centenares de muertos y heridos. <br /><br />Las autoridades egipcias deberían concentrarse en garantizar el derecho de la población a manifestarse pacíficamente sin miedo a la violencia, en lugar de acosar y detener a activistas pro derechos humanos.<br /><br />Ayer, el equipo de investigación de Amnistía Internacional en la zona dijo que <span style="font-weight: bold;">la violencia desatada parecía en parte</span> <span
style="font-weight: bold;">orquestada por las autoridades</span> para sofocar las protestas multitudinarias que piden una reforma política profunda en Egipto tras 30 años de represión. <br /><br />Por favor, <a href="http://info.es.amnesty.org/c/r?EMID=09A01JU2UUGLQ09E279026M4N00KIT6HG" title="Firma para poner fin a la violencia en las manifestaciones en Egipto">firma aquí</a> para que el Gobierno egipcio ponga fin a los ataques contra manifestantes pacíficos y garantice su protección.
