intención es presentar esta declaración el día 10 de
octubre en Bruselas, donde las asociaciones que formamos <st1:personname
productid="la coalición OCEAN" w:st="on">la coalición
OCEAN</st1:personname>2012 estamos organizando una serie
de reuniones con parlamentarios europeos donde, juntamente
con los pescadores <span class="hps">artesanales,
defender </span>los intereses de la flota artesanal y
hacer llegar nuestras demandas a Bruselas. Hemos elegido
esta fecha porque el día 11 de octubre la Comisión de
Pesca organizará una audición sobre "la viabilidad
socioeconómica y las soluciones para la pesca artesanal y
costera en la UE en el contexto de la reforma de la PPC”.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><font face="Calibri" size="2"><span
style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri;" lang="ES"><br>
Esta audición es importante al menos por tres razones:<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><font face="Calibri" size="2"><span
style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri;" lang="ES">-
Se trata de la primera audición después de la publicación
el 13 de julio por <st1:personname productid="la Comisión
Europea" w:st="on">la Comisión Europea</st1:personname>
del paquete de propuestas para la reforma de la PPC, y por
lo tanto es de gran importancia para los pescadores
artesanales y otros interesados en la pesca para hacer oír
sus opiniones sobre la reforma de la PPC.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><font face="Calibri" size="2"><span
style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri;" lang="ES">-
Teniendo en cuenta los nuevos poderes del Parlamento
Europeo en virtud del Tratado de Lisboa sobre co-gestión,
las conclusiones de la audición podrían tener una
influencia importante en la posición final adoptada por el
Parlamento Europeo sobre la reforma de la PPC.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

Además esta audición nos da la oportunidad de unirnos para
compartir nuestros puntos de vista y presentar posiciones

Uno de los grandes asuntos que se tratarán y que es de
vital importancia, es el de cómo conceder el acceso a los
recursos: a través de un sistema de concesiones de pesca
transferibles, como ha propuesto la DG Mare (es decir,
dando prioridad a aquellos operadores capaces de comprar
los derechos de acceso), o dando prioridad de acceso a
aquellos que pescan de la manera más responsable y
sostenible.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
