Mentrestant, moviments socials, ONGs, organitzacions camperoles, polítiques i sindicals d'ambdues ribes de l'Atlàntic es mobilitzen avui cap a la Cimera dels Pobles Enllaçant Alternatives IV, per impedir la signatura d'aquests TLC i denunciar la responsabilitat de transnacionals i governs europeus en les sistemàtiques violacions dels Drets Humans.

Un hotel de cinc estrelles al Txad o material per al control migratori a Ghana han estat finançats amb Fons d´Ajuda al Desenvolupament (FAD), diners comptabilitzats com Ajuda Oficial al Desenvolupament, però que genera deute extern. Casos com aquests poden repetir-se si el Govern segueix amb els seus plans.</font></td>

El debat sobre el model actual de cultiu, distribució i consum de productes agraris s’ha estès entre determinats sectors de la població, ja sigui entre els països del centre com en els països perifèrics. De la mateixa manera, la idea d’agroecologia es va fent cada cop més visible. De manera incipient, també la gestió del mar i dels recursos pesquers està entrant en l’agenda política i en els objectius dels nous moviments socials.</font></td>

El 2006 a Vienna es va demostrar com les empreses transnacionals europees vulneren els drets humans de forma àmplia i sistemàtica. A la sessió de Lima de 2008, van ser assenyalats com responsables d´altres actors necessaris per a garantir la impunitat amb la que treballen les empreses transnacionals europees a Amèrica Llatina. Entre els actors destacar als: governs i oligarquies dels nord i del sud, institucions financeres internacionals, bancs privats i accionistes. A la sessió de Madrid, es vol demostrar la complicitat de la Unió Europea i els seus Estats membres, que fan servir tot tipus de mecanismes i instruments per afavorir els interessos de les seves transnacionals sense garantir els drets humans de les poblacions que en són receptores de les seves inversions. Entre les empreses de les que s´han rebut denúncies estan: Águas de Barcelona, Telefónica, Louis Dreyfus Commodities, Agrenco, Nestlé, Pescanova, DuPont, MerckSharp&Dohme, Lilly, Novartis, GlaxoSmithKline, Warner Lambert, Pfizer, Syngenta, Impregilo, Banif, Santander; GDF, Unión Fenosa-Gas Natural, Iberdrola, Gamesa, Preneal, Acciona, Stora Enso, Holcim, Goldcorp, Continental, Hanes Brands Incorporated, Canal de Isabell II, FCC, Suez, Veolia, Pluspetrol, Perenco, BP, Shell, Repsol YPF, AngloAmerican, BHP Billiton, Glencore, Rio Blanco/Majaz, Endesa-Enel, Bayer, BBVA, Thyssen Krupp.<br><br>

La Xarxa Birregional Europa, Amèrica Llatina i Carib, “Enlazando Alternativas” (<a href="http://www.enlazandoalternativas.org">www.enlazandoalternativas.org</a>) i la Campanya contra l’Europa del Capital, la Crisi i la Guerra (<a href="http://www.noue2010.blogspot.com/">http://www.noue2010.blogspot.com/</a> i <a href=" http://www.hablamosdeeuropa.org/"> http://www.hablamosdeeuropa.org/</a>) ha convocat la 4a Cimera i Tribunal Permanent dels Pobles que tindrà lloc a Madrid entre el 14 i el 18 de maig, en el marc de la Presidència espanyola de la UE, i coincidint amb la Cimera de caps d’Estat de la Unió Europea i Amèrica Llatina<br><br>
La <a href="http://www.enlazandoalternativas.org/spip.php?article575">4a Cimera dels Pobles</a> reunirà el dissabte 15 i diumenge 16, en tallers, debats i conferències autoorganitzades a centenars d'organitzacions i activistes europeus i llatinoamericanes (<a href=" http://www.enlazandoalternativas.org/spip.php?article575">feu click aquí per veure el programa provisional dels tallers la Cimera dels Pobles</a>). <br><br>
De forma parallela, els dies 14 i 15 de maig, el <a href=" http://www.enlazandoalternativas.org/spip.php?article577 ">Tribunal Permanent dels Pobles </a>jutjarà la violació de drets humans per part de les empreses transnacionals europees a Amèrica Llatina i la complicitat de la Unió Europea. S'ha convocat també una gran manifestació unitària el diumenge 16 de maig a les 12:30 h, assemblees de moviments socials i temàtiques, el 16 i 17 de maig, i accions descentralitzades el 18 de maig. <a href="http://www.enlazandoalternativas.org/spip.php?article576">Feu click aquí per veure la programació general</a>. <br><br>

Els autocars sortiran el divendres 14 a les 8h del matí (arribant a Madrid a les 16.15h) i a les 23.59h (arribant a Madrid a les 7.30h de dissabte), i tornaran el diumenge a les 17.30h. </b><br><br>
