A Copenhaguen es va arribar un acord molt vague que va ser dissenyat a darrera hora per EEUU i uns pocs països de ràpida industrialització (Xina, Índia, Brasil i Sud-àfrica). L'acord va ser acceptat sense capacitat d'influència real per molts altres països (entre ells els països de la Unió Europea i la majoria dels africans i asiàtics), i va ser rebutjat per una minoria. Així doncs, no va aconseguir la unanimitat dels països signants de la Va Convenció Marc sobre el Canvi Climàtic i per tant no va poder ser adoptat per les Parts de la Convenció... </font></td>

Tercer país del món segons l’Índex de Desenvolupament Humà i entre els 20 primers segons la seva renda per càpita. Però la crisi financera va trencar amb el somni dels islandesos i, la fallida dels tres principals bancs del país, els va endinsar en un malson de recessió, atur, pèrdua de capacitat adquisitiva i deutes. Entre aquests darrers destaca el “deute extern” que l’Estat islandès ha reconegut cap al Regne Unit i els Països Baixos i que aquests darrers dies ha fet córrer rius de tinta als diaris econòmics...</font></td>

Universitat, Barcelona). El FSCat compta amb l´adhesió de 120 entitats i hi participaran múltiples persones, entitats i col.lectius que actualment estan treballant per combatre la crisi canviant el sistema i per construir un món just, solidari, no violent i respectuós amb el medi ambient i els seus pobles. <br><br>
El FSCat comptarà amb 96 seminaris, a més d´exposicions, mostra de documentals, teatre i música. L´ ODG hi participa en 4 seminaris:<br>
- "Alternatives a la Banca", dissabte de 10 a 12 h, amb Justícia i Pau, FETS i Setem<br>
- "De lo Global a lo Local: El Canvi Climàtic i la Defensa del territori", dissabte de 10 a 12 h, amb El Clima no està en Venda.<br>
- "Transnacionals espanyoles: agents de desenvolupament?", dissabte de 16 a 18 h, amb Qui deu a Qui?, RETS i Fundació l´Alternativa.<br>
- "Resistències i alternatives populars llatinoamericanes al neocolonialisme europeu", dissabte de 18 a 20h, amb Enlazando Alternativas i l´Assemblea Bolivariana de Catalunya<br>
A més, recomanem el seminari:<br>
- "Cap a la construcció de la Sobirania Alimentària", dissabte de 18 a 20 h, de l´Aliança per la Sobirania Alimentària dels Pobles<br>

L´assignatura té com objectiu introduir a l´estudiant als conflictes ambientals derivats de l´accés de diferents actors als recursos naturals (i serveis ambientals) i alhora, els derivats de les càrregues de la contaminació. És a dir, tots aquells conflictes ecològic-distributius (locals o internacionals) nascuts del creixent metabolisme social, des del punt de vista de la pugna d´actors amb diferents interessos i valors, que utilitzen llenguatges de valoració també distints. Està orientada principalment a estudiants de doctorat. L´assignatura forma part de l´especialitat del Màster de Sostenibilitat de la UPC que correspon a l´avaluació de polítiques ambientals. <br><br>
