El mercat europeu és el major consumidor de peix del món. Les aigües europees però, ja estan una mica espletades, només cal sortir a pescar a les nostres costes i preguntar els nostres avis, per adonar-nos-en. Potser és per aquesta raó que només un 25% del peix que consumim els europeus provenen d’aigües europees (FAO, 2008). Pel 75% restant, cal una gran flota d’embarcacions industrials controlades per una xarxa de companyies pesqueres amb bandera conveniència la majoria (algunes són també grans comercialitzadores), amb bandera europea d’altres, solca els mars dels cinc continents a la recerca de grans bancs de peixos. La PPC (Política Pesquera Comunitària, similar a la PAC per l’agricultura) i governs com l’espanyol subvencionen amb molts diners públics aquesta explotació industrial exterior. Per exemple, els mars que banyen Somàlia, les aigües de la qual són aquests dies protagonistes de batalles de pirates: somalis (diuen que molts d’ells ex pescadors) entregats al segrest d’embarcacions que naveguen carregant milers de contenidors plens dels materials i l’energia que precisa l’economia europea.</font></td>

<td class="txt"><font style="font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; color: #666666; text-decoration:none; list-style-image: url(/imatges/vinyeta.gif); list-style-position: outside; ">La crisis econòmica a la que ens enfrontem està suposant un repte de primera magnitud en termes socials i econòmics, tant pels països amb economies més riques com per aquells amb menys recursos. També és un enorme repte en termes ecològics, però aquesta vessant fins ara ha rebut menys atenció fora dels cercles especialitzats. En termes ideològics la crisis ha suposat un important revés pels defensors a ultrança dels models econòmics basats en el lliure mercat radicalment desregulat. Els abusos comesos i les problemàtiques sistèmiques que hem vist que genera aquest model ha mostrat les limitacions d’aquesta aproximació. Per contra aquells que durant les darreres dècades han defensat un mercat més i millor regulat han vist reforçades les seves posicions ideològiques. Finalment aquells grups que anuncien reiteradament la fi del capitalisme han tornat a anunciar la caiguda imminent del sistema econòmic, “aquesta vegada sí!”. En general però, tot i l’evidència mostrada, no s’ha aprofitat gaire la crisis per aprofundir sobre les conseqüències de les limitacions que ha tornat a mostrar la ciència econòmica per tal de preveure com evolucionarà en el temps el sistema socio-econòmic. </font></td>

Segons ell, la violència de l’Estat és una resposta necessària a la conspiració estrangera d’organitzacions ecologistes i de drets humans, junt amb Hugo Chávez i Evo Morales. Alan García és un anti-ecologista fervent que en un famós article titulat "El Perro del Hortelano" va dir que els ecologistes són els comunistes d’avui. El conflicte és internacional per les següents raons. El petroli i el gas van a l’exportació. L’extensió de la frontera petrolera fins els llocs més impropis se deu a que ens acostem al cim del petroli, debut a l’alt consum mundial. Al Perú ha crescut molt l’extensió de l’Amazònia concessionat a companyies petroleres en els darrers anys. La cerca de petroli arriba als últims cofins. </font></td>

Es tracta dels Fons d’Ajuda al Desenvolupament (FAD) i de la cobertura de risc empresarial, a través de la Companyia Espanyola d’Assegurances de Crèdits a l’Exportació (CESCE). Des de la Campanya Qui deu a qui? considerem que el que s’està plantejant és una contrarreforma que aprofundirà l’endeutament dels països empobrits i la violació dels drets humans per a la satisfacció dels interessos privats comercials espanyols. Per això ens oposem a que amb recursos públics -dels contribuents espanyols- s’aprovin reformes cosmètiques que, sota la retòrica de donar suport al “desenvolupament” al Sud i els “interessos espanyols” segueixin beneficiant els interessos privats d’empreses i perpetuant l’endeutament , el saqueig de recursos i la pobresa dels països del Sud.<br><br>
Hem de sumar esforços en aquesta lluita contra aquestes dues reformes que han de vindre. Si des de les vostres organitzacions esteu denunciant la manca de transparència i participació democràtica del nostre govern; l’orientació de la política exterior espanyola a favor d’interessos de multinacionals espanyoles, en lloc dels drets humans i la pau; els impactes socio-ambientals de les multinacionals espanyoles ; així com els processos de desregulació dels mercats i deslocalització de les empreses per maximitzar els seus beneficis a costa dels drets humans, laborals i ambientals, des de Qui deu a qui? us demanem la vostra adhesió a les demandes incorporades en aquest document.<br><br>

Es basen en les preocupacions i reclams expressats anteriorment, dins del context de la Conferència de seguiment de les Nacions Unides sobre el Finançament pel Desenvolupament, (Doha, novembre de 2008), així com en la plataforma Sud-Nord sobre Finançament Sobirà, Democràtic i Responsable i altres declaracions conjuntes en resposta a la crisi actual i l’acció del G20. <br><br>
