<div>Durant els últims anys el professorat hem vist com es deterioraven les condicions laborals, tant pel que fa a la retribucions (la retallada del 5% de l’any 2010) i la prevista pel 2011), així com l’increment de tasques burocràtiques a realitzar, el deteriorament de la democràcia als centres, reforçat pel decret de direccions i d’autonomia, tots dos emanats de la LEC, llei que per altra banda va ser rebutjada majoritàriament per la comunitat educativa.</div>
<div>Davant aquesta situació i veient que cada cop els professors i professores, els mestres i les mestres ens trobem més sols davant la tasca educativa. Un grup de mestres i professors de Ciutat Vella pensem que per intentar revertir la tendència cal recuperar l’autoorganització. Aquesta autoorgantizació ha de partir d’un context similar, amb situacions i problemàtiques semblants, un context que afavoreixi la comunicació i l’actuació conjunta.</div>
<div>A la vegada pensem que l’alumnat dels centres públics de la zona pateix unes condicions similars de segregació i per tant una manca d’igualtat d’oportunitats que dificulten el seu aprenentatge. Forma part de la tasca docent transmetre la capacitat d’anàlisi crític i les formes d’organització per incidir en la realitat social.</div>
