Un negocio común y corriente para la transnacional española: primero compra el gas a Perú LNG, empresa a cargo de la exportación de GNL (gas natural licuado) en el país andino, para después venderlo más caro a México. Los beneficios para Repsol a través de la compraventa del GNL se estiman en unos 15,000 millones de dólares durante los 15 años de contrato. Aunque estas cifras son controvertidas ya que el precio al que Repsol le compra el gas a Perú LNG es fluctuante, lo cierto es, que la transnacional va a obtener beneficios importantes a través de este negocio. </font></td>

Desde esta perspectiva conviene preguntarse (ahora que las relaciones Norte-Sur en el Mediterráneo están al orden del día) como se interfiere en los países del Magreb, y con qué grado de impacto.</font></td>

La cumbre debía ser un punto y aparte en la lucha contra el cambio climático, el momento álgido de dos años de negociación iniciados en Bali el año 2007 en el marco de la Convención Marco de Cambio Climático de Naciones Unidas. La expectación levantada no tenía precedentes: se había confirmado la presencia de más de 115 presidentes y primeros ministros, y más de 45.000 personas de todo el mundo estaban acreditadas para entrar en la cumbre oficial, incluyendo a más de 5.000 periodistas y 22.300 observadores. Por otra parte en la misma Copenhague tenía lugar un encuentro paralelo gestionado por centenares de grupos ecologistas (Klimaforum) en el que participaron miles de participantes, y la ciudad entera estaba volcada con la organización del evento. En el fin de semana intermedio de las negociaciones más de 100.000 personas salieron a la calle en una manifestación pacífica para exigir a los negociadores que se consiguiera un buen acuerdo...</font></td>
