de 18 meses que se encuentra en el CIE de

y/o correos electrónicos solicitando el inmediato cese del internamiento
de la famila</FONT></B></STRONG>; única medida que, en estos momentos,
puede paralizar esta barbaridad.</SPAN></FONT></P></DIV>

continuación os exponemos los datos más significativos del
caso:<BR><BR>Desde el 2 de febrero una familia compuesta por Sharon I.,
Joseph M. y el hijo de ambos, D. Y., de 18 meses de edad, esta
internada en el CENTRO DE INTERNAMIENTO DE EXTRANJEROS DE MÁLAGA,
a pesar de que este centro no cuenta con las instalaciones adecuadas
para la estancia de familias y/o menores de
edad.</SPAN></FONT></P></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>
<P><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt">Los
despropósitos en el proceso de internamiento de esta familia
han desembocado en que, durante el día de hoy, se pueda acometer la
<BR>separación del menor de sus padres. Según la información que
disponemos, el servicio de protección de menores va a proceder
durante el martes 17 de febrero a asumir la guarda del pequeño, a pesar
de no encontrarse éste en situación de desamparo y de que las entidades
sociales sensibilizadas con el caso han puesto a disposición de esta
familia un piso de acogida para que pueda llevarse a cabo su liberación
y evitar así su separación.</SPAN></FONT></P></DIV>
<DIV>
<P><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt">Esta medida expeditiva y carente de sensibilidad
y del más mínimo sentido de la humanidad obedece a una decisión del
juzgado de instrucción número 1 de Motril emitido el pasado 12 de
febrero en respuesta a los recursos que desde Andalucía Acoge y desde la
Fiscalía se interpusieron contra el internamiento de esta familia que
llegó el pasado 30 de enero a Motril en una patera y que desde el 2
de febrero permanece ingresada en el CIE de Capuchinos a la espera
que se determine </SPAN></FONT></P></DIV>
<DIV>
<P><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt">si
son expulsados del país o quedan en libertad. El Defensor del Pueblo
Español también ha pedido la liberación de toda la unidad
familiar.</SPAN></FONT></P></DIV>
<DIV>
<P><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt"> Desde Málaga Acoge tememos que la falta de
tacto y coordinación que la Administración Pública ha demostrado en el
tratamiento de casos delicados que se han producido en el CIE
recientemente (como la expulsión por separado a Nigeria de los miembros
de una familia de Sierra Leona que tenía una niña de corta edad)
desemboque en la ruptura traumática de la familia y la expulsión de los
padres, incluso a un país que no sea el suyo.</SPAN></FONT></P></DIV>
