altamente negativos, que causan destrucción al medio ambiente, a la salud
de las personas y cierran el paso a la producción de alimentos naturales y
sanos. La coexistencia simplemente no es posible y menos aún con el
Uruguay Natural que en algún momento el país quiso

sobre Agricultura”, Pérez Castellano se refería en 1814 a las “cidras
cayotes”, cuyo “único destino es para hacer dulce”. ¿Cuánta gente conoce
en el Uruguay de hoy a esa planta y a ese dulce? A pesar del olvido en que
parece haber caído, la cidra cayote se mantiene sin embargo aún viva en
Uruguay, en algunos casos en la memoria de los agricultores, pero en otros
en los propios cultivos, tal como en el ejemplo que se detalla a
continuación.</SPAN></FONT></P>

tiene como objetivo una presentación general de la papa como alimento y
